micro:bit v2 Board

$62.45 $76.19
The BBC micro:bit v2 is a small computer that can fit in your pocket and provides ample opportunities for digital creativity. Each purchase includes only the micro:bit v2 board, but you can code, customize, and control it from anywhere. The micro:bit can be used to create a wide variety of unique projects such as robots or musical instruments, among others. Despite being half the size of a credit card, each board is equipped with an impressive array of hardware, including 25 red LED lights that can flash messages, two programmable tactile buttons, a touch-sensitive logo for game control or playlist navigation, and even motion detection capabilities. Additionally, it can interact with other devices and the Internet via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0).Examining the front of the board, you can see a 5x5 LED array that can be used as a light sensor, a tiny screen to display words, numbers, or other information, a microphone input and LED indicator, and two programmable tactile buttons, as well as the touch-sensitive logo. On the back of the board is where the micro:bit’s “brain” is located, which includes a 64 MHz, ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller with FPU, 512KB Flash, 128KB RAM, and a built-in temperature sensor. The board is also equipped with an accelerometer, compass, MEMS microphone, speaker, and Bluetooth Smart antenna, along with a microUSB and two-pin JST connector for different power options. At the bottom of the board, there are 25 gold-tabbed edge pins and five ring connectors (three for digital/analog I/O, two for power and ground) for attaching external components. The tabs with larger holes can be used easily with alligator clips and are notched for quick prototype component connections.Micro:bit also provides a user-friendly mobile app that allows you to send your code to the micro:bit over Bluetooth (without needing a USB cable) and offers additional functionality. With this app, you can interact with your micro:bit more easily. Please note that the micro:bit v2 does not include any cables or power sources. You will need to purchase a micro:bit AAA battery holder or a micro USB cable to power your board. The micro:bit is a compact computer that provides endless possibilities for digital creativity. With the micro:bit and shield-like bit boards, you can code, customize, and control your micro:bit from almost anywhere and create unique projects such as robots or musical instruments. Despite its small size, the micro:bit has vast potential.FEATURES:64 MHz Arm Cortex-M4 with FPU512KB Flash128KB RAM5x5 Red LED ArrayTwo Programmable Buttons, one touch sensitive logoMEMS microphone and LED indicatorOnboard Light, Compass, Accelerometer, Temp Sensors and Speaker2.4 Ghz Micro:bit Radio/BLE 5.0 Smart Antenna25-pin Edge Connector4 dedicated GPIO, PWM, I2C, SPI, and ext. powerThree Digital/Analog Input/Output RingsTwo Power Rings — 3V and GNDDedicated I2C bus for peripheralsMicroUSB Connector (5V)JST-PH Battery Connector (Not JST-XH) (3V)Power/reset Button with Status LED200 mA available for accessoriesProgram with C , MakeCode, Python, ScratchDOCUMENTS:Getting Started VideosAbout micro:bitmicro:bit Hardwaremicro:bit Apps
