The handle is ergonomically shaped, double sanded, fire tempered and lacquered to provide years of use.It has a diameter of 1-3/8″. The chuck or tenon for the ferrule is 4″ long and has a 1/2″ hole bored in it to depth of 3-1/4″. The steel ferrule is powder coated blue and is crimped securely onto the handle.
